Make History With Us and join in Erie’s downtown resurgence by remembering HHC with a planned gift.

Please consider remembering ECHS in your estate plans. You can choose to include ECHS in your will, in a trust and/or as the beneficiary of an insurance policy. This type of donation often provides transformational growth for the organization.

Planned Giving

John Baker was a friend of the History Center. 

He was a fixture on our campus.   

John Baker would bring his trusty camera, sometimes hanging out of a window well into his 80s, to get the best shots of events.  He loved taking pictures and he loved the History Center.

John was a longtime volunteer at the History Center and enjoyed chronicling events in Erie. Several local history books include his images.

Wanting to leave a lasting legacy, John included the Erie County Historical Society in his will.   John’s actions will continue to benefit generations to come.  

We thank our friend, longtime volunteer, and donor for all he’s done for the History Center.
